The Consul General of the State of Qatar in Milan, H.E. Abdulla bin Jassim Al Zeyara, accompanied by the diplomats Mr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Noaimi, Consultant of the Consulate, and Ms. Sara bint Khalid Al Meadadi, First Secretary of the Consulate General, paid a courtesy visit to the Prefect of the city of Verona, Mr. Demetrio Martino.
During the meeting, several topics aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
The delegation also visited the Verona Arena together with the Prefect, the planned venue for the closing ceremony of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

Il Console Generale dello Stato del Qatar a Milano, S.E. Abdulla bin Jassim Al Zeyara, accompagnato dai diplomatici Sig. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Noaimi, Consulente del Consolato, e Sig.ra Sara bint Khalid Al Meadadi, Primo Segretario del Consolato Generale, ha effettuato una visita di cortesia al Prefetto della città di Verona, Sig. Demetrio Martino.
Durante l’incontro sono stati discussi numerosi temi volti a rafforzare la cooperazione tra i due Paesi.La delegazione ha inoltre effettuato, insieme al Prefetto, una visita all’Arena di Verona, sede prevista della cerimonia di chiusura dei Giochi Olimpici Invernali Milano-Cortina 2026.
