The Consul General of the State of Qatar, H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Jassim Al Zeyara, held an official meeting with the Prefect of the City of Verona, Mr. Demetrio Martino, in the presence of the Chief of Police of Verona, Dr. Rosaria Amato, and Qatar’s delegation for security and protection operations for the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The meeting focused on preparatory activities and coordination for the security of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, in collaboration with the Italian Government’s security authorities.
Following the meeting, the delegation, together with the Prefect, visited the Verona Arena, the venue where the closing ceremony of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be held.

Il Console Generale dello Stato del Qatar, S.E. il sig. Abdulla bin Jassim Al Zeyara, ha effettuato un incontro ufficiale con il Prefetto della città di Verona, sig. Demetrio Martino, alla presenza della Questore di Verona, dott.ssa Rosaria Amato, e della delegazione per le operazioni di sicurezza e protezione dei Giochi Olimpici Invernali Milano–Cortina 2026 dello Stato del Qatar.
L’incontro ha riguardato le attività di preparazione e coordinamento per la sicurezza dei Giochi Olimpici Invernali Milano–Cortina 2026, in collaborazione con le autorità di sicurezza del Governo italiano.
Successivamente, la delegazione ha effettuato una visita all’Arena di Verona insieme al Prefetto, luogo in cui si terrà la cerimonia di chiusura dei Giochi Olimpici Invernali Milano–Cortina 2026.
